We, the undersigned, convince Sony Pictures Entertainment, to release the "Normal Cut", of the animated movie, The Emoji Movie. Why? Because I've heard a similar trend before, such as the "Snyder Cut" of the Justice League movie, the "Butthole Cut" of the Cats movie from 2019, and, the "JJ Cut" of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Emoji Movie is a 2017 American computer-animated comedy film directed by Tony Leondis, written by Leondis, Eric Siegel and Mike White, and animated by Sony Pictures Animation. It is based on emoji faces, smileys and graphics used in electronic messages. The film stars the voices of T.J. Miller, James Corden, Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph, Steven Wright, Jennifer Coolidge, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Sean Hayes and Patrick Stewart. Its story is centered on Gene (Miller), a multi-expressional emoji who lives in a teenager's smartphone and sets out on a journey to become a normal meh emoji like his parents.  The film grossed $217 million, at the box office worldwide, but was universally lambasted by critics, and audiences alike who lamented the script's bad jokes, blatant product placement, voice performances, lack of originality, and plot. It was also noted for receiving a negative audience reception before it even premiered. The film came out on July 28, 2017 in theaters, and on October 24, 2017 on home media. The Emoji Movie did poorly because it had no focused audience. The premise makes no sense. It's a kids movie, but it's about kids who are in middle school texting each other.

So, this petition is for the people who don't like The Emoji Movie, and for the people who know about the trend of movements like the #SnyderCut. This petition could help Sony Pictures make a better version of The Emoji Movie, called, the #NormalCut. It is called "Normal Cut" because, the main character in the movie, wants to be normal. 

Also, this petition is for Sony Pictures, to improve The Emoji Movie, by rewriting the script with good jokes, better product placement, and have a better plot and originality. They'll probably reuse the animation and assets from the original version, and, either have the main cast, T.J. Miller, James Corden, Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph, Steven Wright, Jennifer Coolidge, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Sean Hayes and Patrick Stewart, return to reprise their roles, for the #NormalCut, or, hire a new cast, for the roles of Gene, Hi-5, Jailbreak, Smiler, Mel Meh, Mary Meh, Akiko Glitter, Flamenca, Steven, and Poop.

This petition is for Sony Pictures to release the "Normal Cut" of The Emoji Movie, which means an improved version of The Emoji Movie, like I said, they should rewrite the script with good jokes, better product placement, and have a better plot and originality. They'll probably reuse the animation and assets from the original version, and, either have the main cast, T.J. Miller, James Corden, Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph, Steven Wright, Jennifer Coolidge, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Sean Hayes and Patrick Stewart, return to reprise their roles, for the #NormalCut, or, hire a new cast, for the roles of the main/major characters in the movie. The Normal Cut did not exist before, but, 2-3 years after The Emoji Movie came out, I'm making this petition for Sony Pictures to improve The Emoji Movie, by making and releasing the Normal Cut of the movie, similar to the Snyder Cut of the Justice League movie, the Butthole cut of the Cats movie, and the JJ Cut of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
