In 1998 Sony Pictures released James Merendino's cult classic SLC Punk, a comming-of-age film starring Matthew Lillard and Michael Goorjian as two young punks growing up in Salt Lake City. Although loved by viewers and critics the movie remains an underrated gem nowadays. Mainly due to the very limited offer of DVD editions and the total lack of a blue-ray release. To my knowledge the director James Merendino even wants to release a blue-ray edition but since it's distributed by Sony Pictures they are the ones to decide if there will be a re-release.

Please Sony 

Give the fans their blue ray release and give a new generation of young adults the chance to watch this cult classic
