Spider-man: No Way Home is the highly anticipated third instalment in the current Spider-man film franchise. It is scheduled for a US release on December 17 2021.

This release date is the same for most major countries including the UK, Canada etc. Some countries will receive the film on December 16th. According to IMDb, at the latest, Argentina is receiving the film on December 23rd 2021.

Meanwhile in Australia, the film is scheduled for release on December 26th 2021 (Boxing Day) - nine days after the films international release. Such a delay has never happened with Marvel Studios' films in Australia.

The media is unavoidable and "spoilers" for this film will undoubtedly be ubiquitous. This will be of particular concern with this film with certain large rumours already circulating regarding plot and cast. This will undoubtedly utterly ruin the film-watching experience for many many fans who have been waiting a very long time. Furthermore, general audiences, who will not be consciously avoiding spoilers online, will doubtlessly have the film ruined for them.

It can be easily assumed that this decision has been made for financial reasons. However, based on the history of the franchise*, it is guaranteed that this film will be an immense box office success regardless.

The fans deserve better than this.
