John Smith started this petition to SONY

Currently, error code ws-37400-4 affects many people who use Playstation game consoles. This error code blocks playstation sign ins on the consumers WiFi connection, rendering the console useless for hours, days and in some cases even months at a time. It does not matter which ISP (Internet Service Provider) is used, as my research has shown that consumers of different ISP's have encountered the same issue. Contacting Playstation support blames the ISP, and the ISP blames Playstation, leaving you with no solution or answers. Most cases they will give you the solution of "opening ports on your router" which does not fix your solution and will waste your time. They must know this doesn't work by now and obviously don't care. Buying a new router/modem or changing the IP address of the Playstation does not work as well.  In addition to this, the Playstation help website does not recognize this code and the guide will leave you at a dead end. According to Google Trends, this started occurring in June of 2020 and affects mainly the North American region, but some other regions of the world as well.  Not only is this an extreme pain to Playstation owners who are unable to use their console, but Sony is losing future customers. Why would we purchase a PS5 if we do not know that we will be able to sign in and use it? I am calling on Sony to at the very least, recognize this code and add it to the website. Consumers need to know why they are unable to use the console they have purchased. If we could get them to recognize the code, maybe that will encourage a real solution in the future. Thank you
