7.50 Update Left Hundreds of PS4s Broken and Bricked. Clarification PlayStation?
Why this petition matters
Last month on the 15th of April PlayStation rolled out a new PS4 system software update, the 7.50 update. For most this update went unnoticed while a few had some issues that were quickly resolved. However even fewer still, was the number of us who's consoles became useless after the update, due to an endless amount of error codes and system crashes.
To make this worse is the lack of response from the customer service team. Answering back to the most basic and solvable issues via Twitter or Facebook, but not a single glance a post about the 7.50 update. Unfortunately the help the support staff give is just generic and repetitive suggestions that could be found out by reading any of the fix guides PlayStation have online.
The main thing is lack of response from PlayStation, there has been no statement or anything addressing the issue.
The three error codes people are seeing most commonly are errors: CE-34878-0 / SU-42118-6 / CE-36329-3
If the update has caused a number of systems to have a number of issues and those people need to pay to get them fixed, that is not great, but at least people would know what the problem was.
Because besides spending between £125 to £175, depending on your system type, to have the system fixed is the only viable option to being able to play.
I am sure that we can all sympathise and be understanding during this trying time for us all, and there are difficulties we face. All people are asking for is this issue to be addressed, an issue thats source came from the supplier.
We wait for your response.
