The Mission Bell Farm, located beside the mission, had been offered for sale by the family who have been its loving stewards for a century. This land reflects the agricultural soul of our community and holds a special place in the hearts of all Sonomans and visitors.
 
Being available for sale on the open market, meant the farm was in danger of being sold for urban development. The Blue Wing Adobe Trust (BWAT), a local non-profit dedicated to preserving Sonoma’s special historic beauty, decided to lead a community effort to preserve and operate the farm. We now have the property in contract.
 
The BWAT urgently needs the support of the community, including both individuals and businesses. We have only a short timeline in which to raise the funds to purchase the farm.
