Human trafficking is a serious problem throughout the U.S because it affects the lives of millions of people it robs them of their dignity. Anyone can become a victim regardless of age, gender, race, and even sexual orientation you can be a victim. Everyone wants to live a normal life and not have that stripped away from them. I believe this is a very serious topic and conversation that should be brought up and dress crossed workplaces, schools, and even daycares It's stated by the human trafficking hotline that in 2020 2,539 people were contacted about being a victim but only 738 have been reported many people live in fear knowing they are being labored into doing a sex act they have no choice of doing because if they refused they can end up dead. A program needs to be created so people can know how to report a tip, know the signs, and even spread the world of human trafficking and how to rescue a potential victim.
