It strikes me that at a time when obesity is rampant and the public needs to be encouraged to take up physical exercise, the conversion of sporting facilities into homes is madness. People before profit!!!

I DO NOT WISH TO SEE THE LOSS OF MORE LOCAL GREEN SPACE. ADDITIONAL HOUSING WILL INCREASE POLUTION AND ADDITIONAL PRESSURES ON SCHOOLS AND HEALTH CARE. LETS SEE NEW SCHOOLS AND MEDICAL FACILITIES ON THESE PLANNING SUBMISSIONS IN ADDITION TO HOUSING DEVELOPMENT.

Shirley can't cope with anymore traffic. The roads are not for for purpose anymore. Sport should be encouraged not desimated

Air quality issues resulting from gridlocked traffic as exists now must be addressed before adding to the traffic by further development.

Another example of central governments edict to build build build. No regard to local people's objections , who understand local needs / environment . This is happening all over England to the determent of the country side.
