We want to help the city of Newton reach its climate goal and installing solar panels on top of the school is the best way to help. Most schools in America run on fossil fuels, emitting harmful substances into our atmosphere and contributing to climate change. If we switch to solar, we would reduce emissions, and help Newton reach their climate goal. With enough signatures, we will take our petition to the Mayor of Newton to try to push for more solar panels at Newton South.
