Let's send the following letter to the Software Freedom Conservancy:

To The Software Freedom Conservancy,

On September 16th, 2019, a blog post titled "Richard Stallman Does Not and Cannot Speak for the Free Software Movement" was published on your website [1].

We, the undersigned, believe that this post does not reflect the majority opinion of the contributors and supporters of the Free Software Movement.

Regarding Dr. Richard Stallman's statements posted on the CSAIL mailing list, we have varying opinions on their accuracy and appropriateness. However, we believe that Dr. Richard Stallman has the right to present a different opinion, and that nothing in those statements warrants the exaggerated response published by the Software Freedom Conservancy.

This post has damaged the trust the undersigned have in your organization to promote our common goal of software freedom. It shows us that you assign more value to various misleading news articles, that give a false interpretation of the statements made by Dr. Richard Stallman, than his work spanning several decades, which has had a tremendous impact on our lives, inspired us to create and publish quality free/libre software, and allows us to use our computers in freedom.

Therefore, we humbly request that the offending post be removed from the website of the Software Freedom Conservancy.

Kind regards,

(signatures will go here)
