All animals, including people are terrified by the recent increase in use of military grade explosives that are being set off in Flathead County in the days and weeks surrounding New Years Eve and the Fourth of July holidays.

I'm an elder but I can put earphones on to minimize the sound. I wonder about folks with small children or babies. How do they deal with these terrible explosions? 

Veterinarians prescribe sedation to domestic dogs to help with their terror  of these explosions. My dog experiences uncontrollable shaking, salivating and panting for hours even with medication. I wonder about the abundance of wild animals. What happens to them?

Fireworks don't have to be explosive and crashing, they can be beautiful and not create terror in both humans and animals.

Montana is known for it's beauty and serenity, lets keep it that way and protect ourselves and our animals. Ban military grade fireworks in Flathead county.
