END THE STIGMA!
END THE STIGMA!
Every society has standards such as for beauty, acceptability and so on. For some, those standards can be destructive and can get in the way of health and happiness. When the citizenry push harder to meet the standards, it creates a culture with higher stress and lower health. Even today society’s standards are set so high specially for young people to be “Perfect” and not the same as everyone around them. If you aren’t the same as everyone else you are set aside and castaway and in some cases, bullied. This is because people in society, find it overwhelmingly hard to be different and not follow the crowd. They want to fit in with society’s criteria of being considered “perfect” in every way. All because society doesn’t want us to attract any attention to ourselves so that’s why we all have to be the same. We are being pushed at all sides to fit into the standards that have been created over time.
Social media plays a vital role in setting up more typical standards. The fakeness that influencers, celebrities, brands and other pages portray is harmful. They also help launch the unreal expectations and that’s what young people see because it’s plastered over every platform of social media sometimes hiding in plain sight, it all starts with a few pop up ads and then they convince you that what you are, is not what you are meant to be and make you doubt yourself.
The purpose of running this campaign is to raise voice against typical high standards and the criticism it causes. It is time to take a stand for those who are dying every day from inside because they are being judged on being less-wealthy, imperfect body shape, dark skin tone, scared skin, and much more. It's time to spread awareness for those who are not able to adjust in society because they feel insecure. Our mission is to kill their insecurities and help them get rid of their depression and we will do our best to make them feel like flying in the fresh breeze as a bird feel out of a cage. We will tackle this issue by spreading positivity through our content so that people start accepting themselves, their lives and for once they stop comparing themselves with others because everyone is different and everyone is perfect in their own unique way. It is high time that people understand that imperfections are normal we just have to accept them.
IT STOPS WITH YOU, IF NOT YOU THEN WHO?
