Zoo Negara Malaysia is currently facing financial crisis in this pandemic. Due to the movement control order (MCO) imposed to combat Covid-19, Malaysians are not able to visit the animals in the zoo. Thus, the zoo lacks enough fund to support the animals as cash collection from visitors are usually used to take care of the animals. This causes the animals to suffer from shortage of food and medication which lead them to death.

Therefore, we as responsible individuals should adopt the animals to help Zoo Negara support them in terms of food, habitat and environment enhancement. There are animals like white tiger, elephant, panda and many more that can be adopted to cover their basic needs with packages varying from RM 25.00 to RM 1000.00 in the official page of Zoo Negara and in online platform. Even a small contribution would mean the world to the animals.

It is now the call for humanity. We need to pay back the nature with gratitude as she has provided us with oxygen to breathe, water for daily usages along with animals to support food chains. Therefore, we have to be responsible in taking care of the nature which is the God’s creation by supporting the existing fauna. It is now or never.
