Stop Soccer Post from selling Adidas Merchandise

Adidas is a company that specializes in sneakers and clothing. They have stores across the globe and have popular, professional athletes endorse their brand. What people don’t realize is the factories that Adidas has in countries such as China and Indonesia. The people who work in these factories are forced to work long, grueling hours because they get paid barely nothing. From looking at the Universal Declaration of Human Rights(UDHR) two rights being violated are Article 23, the right to work and join unions, and Article 25, right to a standard of living adequate for health including housing and healthcare. During the 2012 olympics, Adidas was forcing people to work long hours, paying barely any money, and if they tried to strike, they would be fired, which is a violation of their human rights. With this knowledge of worker treatment, many companies still sell this popular brand. One in particular is Soccer Post which is located at 532 Bedford Rd, Bedford Hills, NY. This store sells soccer merchandise and apparel for many people. They sell all types of Adidas items such as cleats, shinguards, socks, shirts and jerseys. Together we can come together to stop Adidas by protesting there merchandise until Adidas addresses there issues and treat all workers with the rights they deserve.
