SNC Needs to get an Emotional Support Dog to Better Student's Mental Health on Campus
College students suffer from a variety of mental health issues and I feel that Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) does not offer students the right services to assist students with these issues.
As a college student who suffers from anxiety, I believe that the college should invest in an emotional support dog as they provide therapeutic benefits and companionship to people that struggle with anxiety, stress, depression, and other forms of mental health-related issues.
So I call upon you, classmates of Business and Professional Speaking, the rest of the student body, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and the SNC community to sign this petition so that as students of SNC we may get access to an emotional support dog. Because once a week during finals week is not enough to help students deal or manage with their stress and anxiety.
