Snapchat is a great app for people to use and allows a memory function. What’s not cool about it, is Snapchat can delete or ban your account without any warning for any reason they decide. And on top of that they don’t allow you to contact them directly, they just deal with a robot messaging system via email. This has costed people’s tons of tons of memories. Snapchat Users deserve to have their memories as they are their pictures, and shouldn’t have to lose them for a mistake done on Snapchat’s part. The fact that Snapchat doesn’t have any sort of appeal system for this at the very least shows their little care in their users and that a change to the platform is needed. Tons of people have lost pictures of loved ones including people who are deceased and can not be pictured again, as well as years and years of memories due to this petty system. Not to mention the amount of contacts you lose when you lose your Snapchat. This for Snapchat to create an appeal system, not ban people’s account without at least giving them their memories, and above all a better customer service system, one where you can actually speak to representatives instead of bots. If you’re are dealing with a similar issue with Snapchat or just don’t want this to ever be an issue for you or just simply believe a company with this big of a platform should be treating people likes this then please sign this petition.
