Problem
If you go up to a random teenager on the street and ask if they have a Snapchat, chances are they’re going to say yes. Then ask them how long they’ve had their account. Most likely, since the embarrassing years of middle school. Sadly, some of us created usernames that were “cool” back then, but are considered to be weird now (Ex- soccerislife123, unicornfairygirl567 etc..). Instagram has the delightful option of changing the username, without having to create a new account, losing all information.
Solution
Snapchat, please add this feature. There are millions of us who have horrible usernames, but don’t want to lose our memories, and friends. Please, add this feature to help us all.

I’m Abbey Rowe, a senior in high school. I made my Snapchat in 6th grade and decided to put quite the embarrassing username. My friends and I are going off to college, and social media tends to be the best way to get to know our future peers. When they ask for my username on snap, I must say laxchick#### (not my real username). Let me tell you, not the best impression. So PLEASE SNAPCHAT. SAVE OUR EMBARRASSMENT AND HELP US!
