Daily snapchat users everywhere send an average 20 snaps per day! A rough count of how many users participate in this daily average are 173 MILLION people, that is 3,460,000,000 snaps a DAY, that is 1,262,900,000,000 snaps a YEAR.

  All of these snaps can be kept and used by snapchat according to section three of Snap Inc.'s Terms of Service. This section is entitled "3. Rights You Grant Us". The first paragraph outlines the basic "license" they have to not only keep but USE whatever you "create, upload, post, send, receive, and store content".

   I cannot help but feel that this is a severe invasion of personal privacy. I hope that with this petition not only I but we will have the right to the basic privacy that each and every individual deserves.
