Most classrooms in our school district do not have air conditioning. In recent years we are seeing a trend with increased temperatures globally. Our classrooms can be very hot and stuffy in the beginning of the school year and end. The children deserve to be in a comfortable environment where they spend most of their day.
According to a study, when a classroom is too warm or cold, the brain doesn't focus on learning. In order to make sure students are getting the most out of their education, schools should have air conditioning in every classroom to optimize learning.
