The corona crisis was difficult & challenging time for everyone. While some companies went out of their way & above what was legally required of them to help their customers. There were also some companies who hid behind the corona virus. There is one company maximized their gains, used this virus as an excuse to blatantly lie to there customers & exploit them. That company is gotogate.

They charged an illegal fee (as per ec261/2004) for flights which were cancelled by the airlines. Gotgate has failed to follow legal legislation of various countries. They have still not refunded customers for flights  which were scheduled in 2020 (some tickets even purchased in 2019). Getting through to their customer service is an enduring task. There after the unprofessional & unqualified representatives keep passing the buck , blatantly lie & are highly disrespectful  to an aggrieved customer.

It would be in the best interests of skyscanner & their customers if they dropped all companies of etraveli group (parent company of gotogate) off their platform.
