Petition update

Oct 16, 2016 — Last month, Sky promised to make at least 80 percent of the programs and content on Sky Ondemand, Sky box sets and Sky catch-up to be accessible in terms of subtitles. Sky have implemented this and we are now satisfied they have delivered their promise and will continue to do so. I will be personally keeping an eye on their development and ensuring they continue to subtitle their online content. We will also be following up their developments on their accessibility to apps and online services such as Sky Go.

I would like to thank every one of you for taking the time to sign the petition and promote it, it is very appreciated and has made a big change in getting subtitles on Sky services. It has also made Sky aware of the need for subtitles and they've listened to their customers on the issue. It has also included Sky Q as well as the Sky Plus platforms so that content is accessible for all Sky customers.

Thanks again and I'm pleased to announce a victory for our campaign and I hope you have a much better television experience with Sky.
