With this petition we want to end the corporate greed that has been taking over our local ski resorts all over the country, by signing this we hope to show the people in charge that we do have a voice and should have a say in how our mountain is run. By bringing attention to the issue we want to making skiing affordable for everyone, not just monopolized for the wealthy which is what Crystal is trying to do in the upcoming years. Winter sports are dying because corporations focus on money and not the people. Crystal has also had issues with capacity and lift lines, their solution to this is to spend millions on a new lodging complex, new buildings, and extra parking (that has to be paid for). All of this is great but the money could be used to increase lift efficiency and adding more lifts to the mountain. The last thing we need is a hotel that will only cause more capacity issues. They always say they have us, the people in mind but we can clearly see that's not the case. All we want is to make it possible for everyone to enjoy and fall in love with the sport and culture that we all care dearly about. Crystal will never be the way we remember it but hopefully together we can make a change for the greater good, so let's save our mountain for future generations and really stick it the man!
