As we all know, it is generally accepted that my Uncle Tim Brown was the greatest puppeteer in the history of the the Lake George theme park, Storytown (nka Six Flags Great Escape). It is an absolute injustice that there is no plaque at Storytown recognizing the great contribution that Tim made to the theme park and the art of puppetry in general. Above is a photo of Tim pointing at the now shuttered puppet arena where Tim brought life to his marionettes, bringing joy to thousands upon thousands of children. Perhaps someone out there could forward this plea to the Six Flags Great Escape management and urge them to “bring Tim back” for another season of puppet magic. Or perhaps they could install a plaque outside the tower paying tribute to the once great puppet master. It is beyond my limited imagination to design the proper tribute for such an artist. But perhaps using the magic of social media, Tim will finally get the recognition he has long deserved. Please someone make this happen!
