Maggie O started this petition to Sirius XM sirius xm

When I’m in the car and I turn on Sirius XM and I’m rocking out to a song I’ve never heard before but have decided I like, it’s all great until they scream a curse word and then ugh! My 7- and 8-year old siblings are in the backseat. Glad they know that word now! This can be prevented. On Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, etc., it tells you if the song is explicit. That way I can skip the song and move on to one that I know is clean. Couldn’t Sirius XM do the same thing? I’m not asking for the full word ‘explicit’. On Spotify, they just put an E in a small grey box next to the name of the song. It takes up no space and could easily fit on the radio screen with the song name. The reason I’m writing this petition for Sirius XM is because it plays everything from rock, to pop, to jazz, and with this change, parents could introduce their kids to new genres and be sure that it’s ok to have them listen in. So please, sign this petition, so we can have a radio where we know what to expect!
