Matthew Carroll has been making really good 90's alternative style music based upon episodes of Star Trek. It would be an absolutely perfect fit for the new visual style of Star Trek Picard and Discovery.

Star Trek has always been a franchise intimately connected to the fan base. Feature music by one of our own would be a great way to deepen that connection. The Garage (Matthew Carroll's band) makes high quality, catchy songs that fit the slick stylized look of the new Trek series.

He has been releasing a new song for each episode of Star Trek Picard. He is a very prolific and efficient musician who often produces a song within a day of the episode's premiere. If one of his existing songs doesn't fit with something the producers need, he has demonstrated that he can easily produce another.
