As a disabled mother I struggle to book holidays that will accommodate myself and my two children as well as a companion.

The majority of the companies listed do not tell you weather the properties are accessible, most will only sleep two people or three rarely sleeping four or more.

Having visited TUI, the travel agent was unaware of any suitable accommodation and explained that once I have chosen any preferred locations they would then contact 'The welfare team' to see if that location could accommodate myself and my family. 

Currently eleven months in I have yet to find any suitable locations.

Firstly I am not sure why I would have to be referred to the 'Welfare team' I am a wheelchair user with a family, its 2019 why isn't it as easy to book a holiday as everybody else?

Secondly I appreciate the fact that there is a specialist department available to deal with such enquiries but unfortunately it seems they too don't know the appropriate way to move forward.

I feel that all travel agents/travel companies should have this information readily available or a trained specialist in stores/customer service to deal with customers like myself and take ownership to allow myself and my family to go on a holiday just like the rest of the country.

I would really appreciate your support in raising this issue and hopefully making a change for all disabled families.
