Youths in Singapore are already well educated on Singapore's water supply as well as ways they can help conserve water, and why water is a very precious resource.

Water takes up only 2% of the Earth's total water, and currently, with various environmental issues such as global warming that is causing the melting of polar ice cap - where 68% of the world's freshwater is locked up at. Aside from these environmental factors, there are also 785 million people around the world (1 in 9 people) who are yet to have access to clean, drinkable water - a fundamental human right.

Through this movement, we hope that youths in Singapore can pledge themselves to saving more on their water usage in various ways, be it using a mug while brushing their teeth, turning the tap off while soaping up in the shower, or checking their faucets and pipes for leakages. We believe that youths today are the future of Singapore, and we should therefore instil values that we can carry on to the following generations to come. Here is a start: simply pledging yourself to start appreciating clean water that has been made readily available for everyone in our little red dot.
