At present, the legal age at which Singaporeans are eligible to vote is age 21. Over time, many countries around the world through research have concluded that humans through evolution mature at an earlier age and is capable of thinking and making choices that affect their future.  The legal age for voting in these countries have been lowered to age 18. It was suggested that Singaporean youths are not mature and responsible enough, capable of making informed political choice through the vote. Ironically, in Singapore males at age 18 can be called to serve the nation through National Service carrying arms which carry considerable risks and responsibilities.  Please support if you think age 18 is good to cast a vote to make a choice.
