To The Government Of Singapore,

The world and our country is currently facing a possible epidemic. We are living in dangerous times.

There is a great saying by a wise man that goes something like "With War Comes Opportunities"

Unfortunately our citizens have been taking the wrong understanding of this quote.

In times of great distress, its a great opportunity to come together as a nation to help one another, to recreate bonds and unity. Look at China, even through all the negative light on them, they work together in unity.

This is greatly lacking in Singapore. To make things worse, these citizens are purchasing surgical mask & hand sanitizers and reselling them at ridiculous price.

Items are being resold online at 5 times the mark up.

To make things worse, retail shops are holding back the items just so they can mark up the prices.

Basic economics is appreciated but this is not that, its an act of greed, selfishness and division.

There are many old folks out there who are unable to get their hands on the needed tools to stay safe. We had to cross over to another country to get them.

This is disastrous for us as a nation and will only create more division.

I urge the Singapore Government to implement a fine or a sentence on these individuals and the retail shops.

Save us &  save this country!
