The use of signals in close personal space is proven to be detrimental to human health
and tracking as a concept is authoritarian and doesn't respect privacy rights.

initially the whole lockdown thing was to flatten the curve so that the healthcare system won't be overwhelmed. But now that we know the majority of cases are mild and don't required hospitalisation, all these mitigating measures is really overkill. We should save it for next time when there's a real threat. The population is already so fatigued.

They lied directly to our faces. The moment enough Singaporeans signed up for it because were assured that the tokens were purely for covid, the government pulls this stunt on us. We are becoming less and less like a democracy. It’s only time we’ll end up like a Hong Kong or worse. The principle is entirely wrong our sense of utilitarianism is being twisted to the government’s whim and fancy to conduct mass surveillance.
