OPENING UP THE CAUSEWAY FOR TRAVELING BY CARS IS SAFE FROM COVID-19

The Causeway is said to be a "special" situation compared to airports. Causeway is by nature "congested with people and not suitable because of covid-19". That is only true when traveling by bus.

Unlike passengers of buses, passengers traveling by private cars do not have to come out of the cars. This would avoid the human congestion.

The Causeway congestion of humans happens when passengers queue to board buses and indeed, when people are in packed buses.

The human congestion happens when people are at the passport control queueing for customs clearance.

All these congestions do not happen when people travel by private cars across the Causeway. Car passengers do not need to come out of the cars. They do not need to come out of the cars to queue for customs processing.

The passengers are inside the cars from inside Singapore all the way to inside Johor Bahru Malaysia.

I would like to petition the Singapore and Malaysian governments to allow travel from Singapore into Johor.
