Troon is the second biggest Town in South Ayrshire, three Banks have indicated closing in the coming year, the TSB the Clydesdale and now the RBS bank,

As the UK Parliament has hold 73% shares in RBS it is the taxpayers who own It.,

by signing this petition we ask the Secretary to discuss this issue with the RBS Board to reconsider the decision to close the bank, there was no consultation with customers except a letter to say the bank would close, the reason giving for closing the RBS branch was because more people are using internet banking, In Troon we have a increasing elderly population and people in the area who dont have the facillities to internent bank the nearest bank would be 10 miles away in Ayr.
