Overturn the Irish Government's decision to refuse to recognise the autonomy of Catalonia

Following the Government of Ireland's decision to refuse to recognise the autonomy of the new Republic of Catalonia. I am calling on our government to reverse that decision. It is in the remit of a government to exact the will of the people though policy and positions. I believe that our current minority government is failing to do this with regard to its stance on Catalonia. Clearly the will of the Irish people is for Ireland to recognise the new Republic. The people of Ireland know all too well our history and our struggle for independence. In 1919 the independence of Ireland was not recognised to the frustration of those who had struggled and fought tooth and nail for irish self determination. To see our own sovereign government acting with such hypocrisy is nothing short of a disgrace and needs to be reassessed
