Teaching racism awareness at schools.

This petition made change with 23 supporters!

1 in 5 children in primary school experience racial abuse a day. Other students are being racist, without evening knowing what it is. Children between the ages 5 - 12 are excluding kids from groups or games, calling other children names and physically hurting other children, just because of their skin color. To the innocent child that has a different background and appearance, he/she now feels worthless. Like they don't belong, and the fact kids are forcing these views without realising it is wrong.

45% of children that are not born in Australia experience racial abuse and primary schools have 26% higher racial issues then secondary schools. Early education needs to be taught. Preventing needs to be taught. So please, can we get anti-racism to be taught in primary schools. Even one lesson, with reminders and advertisements around the school to stop this behaviour, is helpful.

So please sign my petition, and it will be sent to all the Education Ministers of Australia to help prevent young, unknown racism.
