We all are aware of the on going Covid-19 Pandemic situation, how it is impacting our daily lives as well as our economical status. Many people have lost their jobs due to staff layoffs and company shutdowns in some cases. Or they are being provided with lesser salary. Many of us are members of business families. Many of our family businesses have been affected by the Corona virus (Covid- 19) pandemic & lockdown. 

In this crisis situation Siliguri College is showing inhuman behavior to it's students. It's charging excessive money to get admission in 3rd and 5th semester. Fees starting from 1k went up to 11,525.00 for MASS COMMUNICATION & 11,375.00 for BCA . Also it's been more than 6 months our college is closed, still they have included electricity fees, building fees and few unnecessary fees to increase the total amount.  Where there are no physical classes, still they are charging exorbitant fees  for laboratories.

While people are fighting for their livelihood, it's impossible for most of them to pay such a large amount. Note that some of our college students & their family members have been infected with the Corona virus. 

So, we are praying for a fair admission fee considering the convenience of all the students in this situation.
