This petition is to condemn the recent decision of DSGMC and SGPC to start katha of “Dasam Granth” in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This decision is against the very basis of sikh code of conduct which prohibits recitation of any non-approved literature in front of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. Also, it is disrespectful to the direct order of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji who demanded all Sikhs to bow head only and only in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. On the occasion of pratham prakash purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji when the whole world is celebrating the true essence of Sikhism according to mool nanakshahi calender, it is devastating that our leaders who should be setting an example for the whole community are helping in degrading the true message of Guru by allowing 8 days of kudh prachar from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib Ji. When Iqbal Singh used reference from this so called "Dasam Granth" it shook the sentiments of whole sikh communtiy and now for whole 8 days these leaders want to propagate the same ideology which favours the RSS agenda. Please awaken your soul and stop this nuisance and spread the true message of true Guru- Sri Guru Granth Sahib � "Ika Baani, Ik Gur, Iko Shabad Vichaar" naal judiye te jodiye. With this petition, we demand that this program should be stopped at once and no such unfortunate decisions should be taken in future. If DSGMC doesn’t oblige with the wishes of the sangat, Sikhs from all over the world will remember this in the upcoming elections.
