Petition against unfair rules against girl's clothes at Bangla Sahib

This petition had 53 supporters

I have been always proud to be a Sikh.
I always feel I have the right to wear whatever I feel like even when I go to a gurudwara, as it's my home. But some people who create such rules that a person ( oh sorry! A girl) have to cover up her legs with a dupatta while entering the gurudwara and being pin point if I wear shorts.
Today, on my birthday like always I went to Bangla saheb and was pin point and made to cover my legs with a dupatta with such nasty looks before entering the gurudwara.
The people making such rules, its not your home! There is no difference between my legs or a males! They are no one to decide what a person can wear while taking blessing from waheguru ji.
People having such thinking, sorry to say. You are not a real sikh.
I am signing this petition against this rule, until unless this practice is stopped I won't enter the gurudwara anyways, waheguru ji isn't in those walls.
Gods are everywhere , they reside in us!
Everything starts at home, such discrimination and making feel insulted to wear the clothes you want to, won't be practiced in my home.
Just would request if you could sign this petition and share!
Thank you!
