We, the undersigned, implore the company to reinstate On-Call at all bases instead of trying to use a few bases to cover large areas of densely populated territory. 

      Many members with years of Seniority have put in their time, blood, sweat, and tears to be able to bid to Distribution. We did so in order to have a normal schedule consisting of day shifts. We are still willing to stand watch, but do not accept that “shift work” or “off hours coverage” shifts are the answer. Shift work is known to lead to long term health complications and utilizing a few employees to cover big areas is flatly dangerous.

     SCG should not attempt to rely on off hours employees to travel well outside their District to respond to emergencies. Emergencies should be met with action as soon as possible and the best way to do that is having an assigned On-Call for every District.

     Stop putting profits over safety! Reinstate the On-Call where you’ve determined you need coverage (everywhere!?)!
