Sign to help: Rhode Island urgently needs better care!

In our country, someone turns 65 every eight seconds, and already, in Rhode Island, over 14% of our residents are over the age of 65. We need a comprehensive long-term care system to support our rapidly aging population, and we need it now.

Join us in urging Senator Whitehouse to support Senate Resolution 128, which calls for the creation of an affordable quality care system. Sign today and ensure that he feels the public pressure to speak out on behalf of Rhode Island’s aging population and their caregivers.

As residents of Rhode Island, we need our senators to play a leadership role in creating a better long-term care system. That's why when you sign this petition urging Senator Whitehouse to support the resolution, we’ll deliver the petition directly to his office.

Letter to
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
U.S. Senate
Every eight seconds, someone turns 65 in America. For residents of Rhode Island, the silver tsunami is already here. Over 14% of Rhode Island’s residents are over the age of 65, many of whom will need long-term care. We need a system of care that will meet the needs of both our rapidly aging population and the growing workforce that enables seniors to live and age with dignity in their own homes.

Please help to ensure that residents of Rhode Island, and all Americans, will have access to affordable, quality long-term care by assuming a leadership role in supporting Senate Res. 128.
