Mother Earth is our home and the force from which all life is created. We as human beings have a responsibility to care for her and all of the beings of life that she sustains. We at Rematriation and most importantly as Haudenosaunee women, strive to lift up the voices of all Indigenous women and our values:

We stand for the belief that Indigenous women and peoples have the right to have their stories told and make an impact in our world (our our people hold women in a place of an elevated status a life givers.) This belief is Rematriation or the belief that we all come from the Sacred Mother and have a duty to care for her and all of life.

Therefore, by signing the Rematriation pledge, you are making a commitment to ensuring that the stories of Indigenous women and peoples are heard, and will begin embodying these values into your life for the wellbeing of all life on our planet. You stand for the future generations that you will never meet in person on this Earth-- but they will come to know you by the world you left for them. You stand for wellness of all life -- for others and for yourself, because a healthy planet comes from healthy people. And finally, you stand for helping to shape human consciousness by promoting an environment of peace within and around you, for all to benefit. By signing the pledge, together, we are committed to creating a space for Indigenous women and peoples to share their experiences and to listen to the wisdom they share for the wellbeing of Mother Earth and all of life that she sustains -- including us, humankind.
