Bring HOSA back to SFHS!!!

As many may or may not know, HOSA is a medical club. Here in Forsyth county, Lambert High school has the largest HOSA chapter. Lambert also is the only school to offer a medical pathway. Unfortunately, there is not a medical pathway at South Forsyth, and there isn't a HOSA club anymore. It is very inconvenient for the members of the unofficial club, to meet at random locations rather than at their own school. Many rising 9th graders are transferring to Lambert solely because of HOSA and their medical pathway. Creating a HOSA at South Forsyth would make it easier for many children who are passionate about helping to heal others. We are aware about why the club was shut down, but we think it is unfair that many students who were serious about the club had to suffer because of the error of a few. We can even take actions to prevent further incidents like these such as: having parents or teachers volunteer at events and setting strict rules. Our HOSA will consist of many individuals with diverse opinions and thoughts that all have a similar goal: to pursue their passion in healthcare. Adding a HOSA club to SFHS is an important way to address all students passions. Leadership. Service. Commitment. Passion. These characteristics will help South Forsyth High school's HOSA to be as successful as it can be.
