Multiplexes in Karnataka should be ordered to fix the ticket cost as 120/- for all films

A weekend movie ticket in a Karnataka multiplex can cost you up to Rs. 450. The minimum ticket price is Rs 120, but that is only during weekdays, which is not convenient for most movie-goers. This is true for Kannada movies also.

Karnataka multiplexes do not have fixed ticket prices. They vary the cost depending on demand and increased profit margins. The movie-watching audience ends up suffering and being looted.

Neighbouring states like Tamilnadu have ordered a maximum ticket cap of Rs 120, irrespective of the movie or show timing. Why can't the Government of Karnataka do the same?

Please fix ticket prices in multiplexes so that the movie-goers don't have to pay more than Rs 120 throughout the week. This is the demand of every movie-watching Karnataka citizen.
