Recently, Sigma Nu at the University of Tulsa hosted a party on September 25th, 2021. Some individuals both in and out of Greek life came out after the party and said publicly they were roofied. Some of these individuals went to campus sercuity to report the awful incident and they are in process of investigating. This past Saturday for the homecoming game, Sigma Nu was allowed to have a tailgate. This is unacceptable and they should have already not be allowed while the investigation is ongoing. It is unsafe for TU students and community. It has caused many of the victims to feel unheard and unsupported by the TU administration. We understand that this takes time, but as a plea by a TU student we deserve to feel safe and comfortable, and allowing Sigma Nu to have parties and greek functions will negatively impact students' mental and physical health. This is setting precedent for future situations, so we ask to do set correctly and immediately. Thank you.
