Sierra Vista police aren’t taking sexual assault/rape and domestic violence seriously! Many women in Sierra vista have experienced domestic violence and police don't take action when it comes to the male consequences they either ignore the issue or make you feel like you are at fault for the situation. Many women in SV have been traumatized by being sexually assaulted by a male in Sierra vista and police will do nothing about it! The victims are left with no justice and I strongly feel ALL female victims who had no justice in there case and even had evidence and still had no justice should have a chance to REOPEN there case! Every female deserves a voice! By signing this petition it will hopefully give a chance to the victims to reclaim justice in there case that was just tossed to the side by the SVPD! The police here don’t see this as a serious issue but I do! I wanna see justice for all the females in this town one by one! We need to show them we are strong and we are not going to let them throw our trauma to the side, we need to show them that “boys will be boys” is bullshit and that females need justice! We need to make a change in how the police react to these situations as well as taking these problems seriously and respectfully and putting in the hard work police officers should do to help a victim when they come forward.
