Sierra Nevada has brought Summerfest out every summer since 1991 until 2021 when it was replaced with their new "Summer Break" session hazy IPA. Summerfest was something to look forward to each year, easily one of the best of the summer special beers. It has a nostalgic place in the heart of many beer drinkers as Sierra Nevada has been a pioneer in the craft beer and summer beer industries. Though they did a limited release this year to satisfy some fans, it was quite geographically limited (basically to around their production facilities) and sold out immediately. We petition Sierra Nevada to bring back Summerfest as a wide release product like it has previously done.
