We are a group of students from Western University working in conjunction with London Open Mic Poetry to ask the City of London to stamp poems in the fresh cement of sidewalks while making repairs. Given the success of similar projects in Minnesota and Massachusetts, where hundreds of poems have been stamped in sidewalks, we feel that instituting this project in London would help to foster a love of poetry in both locals and visitors to London.
