William Woods University's dining hall, Tucker, has always been know to have poor quality food but this semester it has become unbearable. Last weekend a large rat was seen (and filmed) running around the dining hall. Tucker never closed its doors but continued to serve students while chasing the rat with brooms. No notice or email was sent out to students about the situation. Many students have complained that they are getting sick every time they eat there as well. The food is inedible and disgusting. Woods requires any student that lives on campus purchase, at minimum, a $4,600 meal plan ($4,940 for most students). For $4,600 you would expect a rat free and food poisoning free food.
