Re-Post of the comment by Herrn Oliver
(as it somehow did not appear):
(During) " 1991/2 I've been first time in Arugam Bay. All together 5 months. Many local people knew me as one of the volunteer teachers at the Sinna Ulla school, Sinhapura Road, in Arugam Bay. Living in the home of Chuti and Jea.

Since 2000 I'm a regular visitor at Arugam. That was also the time that I made friendship with Fred and Somlak. I saw the buildings growing up step-by-step. I remember the help which have given after the 2004 tsunami. I remember Christmas, New year and fullmoon parties and good conversations with other guests. The Siam View was always an unique place to meet interesting people. Several times Fred had offered room and dormitory to me and my Muslim friends. And same like me and many other dreamers he had to learn, we can't trust local partners. The day will come that all of us will be cheated more or less. I understand your worries and feel with you. I wish you good luck and support by higher authorities to pass this difficult time. Never ever within last 20 years I've seen there other owners than Fred and his family. Siam View was always and should be always in the hand of Fred's family. Good luck"

BLOCKS OF CONCREET CANNOT HELP BUILT GOOD VALUES OR WELLBEING to the society! yet the ancient rocks and blocks do talk to us of ancient pride, that should be clearly made visible in modern works. DO NOT RUIN the PRESTIGE, it is the pride of the NATION.
