Dear Friends, we would like to let everyone know that Bodo Language is one of the 22nd schedule official language of India included in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution via 92nd Amendment 2003. Bodo language is also recognised as 2nd Official Language of Assam and adopted as Modern Indian Language by Gauhati University in 1996 and since 1963 Bodo language became the medium of instruction. Bodos have been using Devanagari Script since 1975. We also like to enlighten you that the study of Bodo Literature is also inducted in M.A. level in Gauhati University for the first time. The commissions like UPSC and APSC has also included Bodo Language to their domain as one of the language paper.

Therefore, we would like to request PM Modi, Shri Prakash Javedkar Ji, MHRD, and CBSE to include Bodo Language as one of the Language Paper in CTET examination also, so that many aspiring Bodo Students can compete in the said examination in their own language to serve the nation as a responsible and qualified teacher.

Please sign our petition, so that it reaches the concerned authorities like PMO, MHRD & CBSE. We shall remain grateful for your kind support.
