We as a Common citizens of India would like to request Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India and Mr
Prakash Keshav Javadekar to banned AAJTAK AND INDIA TODAY as we no Longer want to feed up by Fake And Misleading News.

Fake news is an online epidemic, and the way forward is three-pronged: One, rethinking the intermediary liability rules to ensure a greater degree of social responsibility and transparency from tech companies; two, passing a law that strictly defines fake news, and three, ensuring tech literacy through awareness drives, to inculcate the habit of verifying all content received. We’ve witnessed the Internet build what’s called a global village, changing the way we communicate with one another. Both, information and misinformation are at our fingertips. This only means that it is almost as easy to spread fake news as it is to verify it.

Aajtak and India Today have been misleading people with false Information to common people by taking Interviews of Prime Accused Ms Rhea Chakraborty ,of SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT case The case is still under Investigation and providing any kind of misleading and false information through Friendly Media is absolutely Disgraceful as it harms the ongoing Investigation .

The Information Technology Act 2000, which regulates electronic commerce and provides for certain cybercrimes, contains a provision (section 66A) prohibiting the dissemination of information that a person knows to be false by means of a computer resource or a communication device for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred, or ill will, but this provision has been struck down as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India. The 2000 Act and the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) 2011 also establish limited immunity for social media and other internet companies for any illegal content posted by third parties and outline the due diligence to be observed by intermediary companies for removing such content. In 2018, new draft rules were proposed by the government that seek to curtail the misuse of social networks and increase accountability.
India has become a home for extensive spread of false news due to these kind of Fake channels like Aajtak and India today,The damage caused due to fake news on social media has increased due to the growth of the internet penetration in India, which has risen from 137 million internet users in 2012 to over 600 million in 2019 .

We as a common people would like to request the ministry to take strict action against these channel’s for misleading people and Interviewing prime accused of the Investigation as this may harm the case directly and Indirectly.
It is clear violence of Human Right as Deceased cannot defend himself .
